I am not a big fat quitter!

I know you all think I just quit my blog, but I promise I am going to make a really good effort to get back into it! It has been just about a year since my last blog post, and a whole lot has happened! The major event was the birth of my adorable bright eyed baby boy! More to come and a whole lotta pics to be shared! xoxo

Happy Father's Day..

Hands Down I have the best dad ever! He is the most selfless and generous person and will do anything for his kiddos! I am so thankful that I have such a silly, devoted, lovable, and fun dad to celebrate! My favorite things about my dad are that he never complains and he always lives each day to the fullest. He truly reflects the joy of the Lord each and everyday, and he is just the most contagious person to be around!

Love You So Much Dad!

One of my dad's pet turtles. He loves turtles! He would probably get in a wreck before running over a turtle.
He is super goofy and acts like a kid! This is just one of the many crazy faces he makes.

He loves to show off his "bod", and embarrass his family!
Just a picture of Dad with his favorite child! Sorry Ranger and Lil..

Mom and Dad love to have fun and show off their dance moves.

A Birthday Must

I can't believe I let Lil and MG's birthdays slip by without an acrostic. Shame on me! Oh well..
Better late than never.

Zealous (and not just because it's one of the only adjectives that starts with Z) He truly is one of the most full of life, energetic, adventurous and exciting people to be around.
A breath of fresh air. Life is always fun and great when your'e with Zack.
Cares more about others than himself. He always looks for ways to encourage and build others up.
Kid at heart and and so very unaware of himself.

Giving - She always looks to see what she can do for the people around her.
Absolutely beautiful inside and out.
Insightful - My mom is so full of wisdom and discernment.
Loving, lovable, and loves life! She is full of love for others, people who know her can't help but love her, and she makes everyday feel like a holiday!

I hope everyone is having a happy Thurday!

I'm loving June and will keep loving June because....

1. Two of my favorite people had birthdays this month. MG and Lil. There aren't two more fun-loving wonderful people to celebrate! I love you both...You put the fun-shine in life!

2. We found out that Baby is not just a baby anymore...Baby is a "he", and he has a name - LUKE. We can call him by his name when we talk to him now.

3. I have been feeling so peppy and energetic this month. I finally feel like I have the spring back in my step! No more car sick feeling or blaaaahhness!

4. Ranch and Sister-Cake will be finding out if Baby-Cake is a boy or Girl. I can't wait to find out more about Luke's best friend.

5. Fathers Day. We get to celebrate my favorite man over the age of 28. PJ! He is the most loving, caring, thoughtful dad. He is always a blast to be around, and he always knows how to turn my frown upside down and cheer me up!

6. We have 2 new dads this father's day. Nator already loves being a dad to Luke. I am blown away already by how much he cares about Luke. He is going to be the most kind and loving dad to our little boy. I can't wait to see him hold our little baby for the first time. It is also my Brother Rangers first father's day. If he is half as good at being a dad as he is a big brother he will be phenomenal! I can just see a baby boy being his little pal, and a baby girl just melting his heart! It is so fun how Ranger and I grew up experiencing everything together - we were a team. And now we are still experiencing everything together as semi-newly weds about to have our first little one only a month apart! It will also be so much fun to see our little bitties interact with each other.

7. One of my best friends will be turning 28 this month. Happy Birthday Carol! You are the most devoted friend a girl could have. Can't wait to live close to you someday!

8. Steve got to feel baby Luke kick this month, and he loved it!

9. We are going to paint Luke's nursery this month. I can't wait!!

10. This month I hit 20 weeks pregnant (June 17th)...which means only 20 weeks til I get to hold my lil bitty!

GOD IS GOOD!!! I am so thankful that I have so many reasons to love life and I have so many people in my life that mean so much to me!

M Day

There are many many qualities I love about MamaGator and MamaNator, but today on Mother's Day I am going to pick out my very favorite thing about each of them.

My favorite thing about MamaGator is her Love for life. She brings sunshine, love, and energy to any room, situation, or conversation. She genuinely loves others and is ready to invest in them. People are drawn to her, and the wonderful thing is she doesn't even realize it. She definitely shines for the Lord in a way that you just don't see that often!

My favorite thing about MamaNator is her desire to serve others. She is constantly seeing the needs of others and is ready to serve them. Every time she visits she spruces up my house by putting her motherly touch into it. She even got a huge stain out of my carpet that Steve and I could not get out for the life of us. I don't know how she does it! I know it must please the Lord the way she shows his love by serving and loving the people around her!

I am so thankful to have two wonderful mothers to celebrate!! Life is good, and I am so blessed.

I can't wait to spend time with my mom this week in NJ! I wonder what kinda trouble we will get into??!!

A Growing Pooch and Fun Foods!

Here is a little picture of my baby bump. I am standing next to the fountain outside of the yummy little Mediterranean restaurant Nator and I ate at this past weekend in Princeton, NJ. It definitely felt awkward having Steve take a picture of just me, but I want to document my growing belly during the whole pregnancy week by week - so i better get used to the awkward poses. I decided to start with week 13 because I definitely feel like I am sporting the awkward pooch now. This picture does not do justice...I look poochier in person - this shirt does a good job of hiding it! Promise!!
Nator is really hoping that we have a chubby little monkey, so he keeps making sure I am well fed! He has told me that he will feed our baby M&M's if it is not "tasty" enough! By tasting he means chunky.

This week my new cravings are:

Dark Chocolate - will always hit the spot.

I also ate a big jar of pickles in 1 day. You can imagine how awful I felt afterward, but of course I am going to need to buy another jar of pickles ASAP for my demanding tummy. I should probably buy a few jars at the rate I am going. Claussen pickles are the best!

I think our baby enjoys it when I eat fun kiddy foods, so maybe that is why I am craving/eating these cute little gummy fish and the sour patch kids!

One More Thing....
I am having lots of dreams during the night. I love the ones where I wake up and just want to go back to sleep so I can continue the fun adventure I am in the middle of. But I have had a lot of awful dreams that I am so relieved to wake up and realize that is NOT "my life"!

Good News!!

I know I know…it has been forever since I have last blogged, but once you get out of the groove of blogging it seems crazy that you ever had things to blog about! Today there is actually something crazy-exciting that I would like to announce….

Steve and I are going to have a baby! We are 13 weeks pregnant, and couldn't be more excited about this big fat blessing from the Lord!

Ever since I found I was pregnant:

I have been praying for our little one all the time

I have been overwhelmed with thankfulness

I have been very protective of the music our baby listens to (only Christian or very uplifting music)

I have tried to stay away from foods that I think our baby might not like (which is totally dependent on the day and the mood I am in)

I have been craving lots of pizza, frozen yogurt, and fruit

I realize more and more everyday that my husband is going to tie with my dad as the most phenomenal dad ever

Have been so thankful for the way that all my family is so prayerful and excited for the little one we have on the way

My husband has been researching everything about babies and being pregnant, and he has been policing me like crazy on all the pregnancy do's and don'ts!

I have been feeling:

Ridiculously tired

Extremely bloated

Car sick/ motion sickness all the time

Very very very emotional (but my husband has been a champ at pretending he doesn't even notice)

Hungry all the time - I am the bottomless pit

Achy - especially back aches

Thankful for the wonderful and helpful husband that i have(he has been AMAZING!)

Like we are having a boy

OVERWHELMED by how miraculous our God is and how great His love for us is!

I have been wishing that:

My husband could pee for me in the middle of the night

I had a magic wand that would clean my house, make dinner, and fix my hair for me everyday

I had more energy and motivation to exercise

That I could eat sushi

Now that I am in the 2nd trimester:

I am starting to feel soooo much better

Starting to look like I have a funny little pooch

My jeans are ridiculously tight

I am getting more and more excited and ready to meet our little one!

Stay tuned and I post pictures of my awkward growing belly!
